HPS started because we saw a gap between project planning and practical delivery in the field. Too often, there was a disconnect between engineering, consulting, client expectations, and on-ground execution. Having worked on both the client and contractor sides, we built HPS to bring practical industry experience, clear communication, and real-world solutions together - helping projects run more efficiently from start to finish.

Throughout our growth, we've focused on developing practical solutions that add value to our clients and projects. Our logistics and transport division grew naturally as we became more involved in pipeline projects and identified opportunities to better support field operations. Our biosecurity capability was developed in response to a client need on pipeline projects, where we invested in industrial-grade, skid-mounted equipment that can be fitted to existing fleet assets - providing a flexible, efficient solution while helping reduce overall project costs and maximise fleet versatility.

We provided consultancy support to a major HDD contractor by supplying a Project Manager for a large-scale desalination project in Onslow, WA, involving the construction of four complex shore approaches. The project scope included HDPE welding, hydrostatic testing, civil works, HDD drilling operations, commercial diving activities, and coordination of two large jack-up barges. In addition to managing critical offshore construction activities heavily influenced by weather conditions, the project required detailed planning around environmental compliance, documentation, and logistics - ensuring all materials and specialised equipment were available in a remote location where transport delays could significantly impact the programme. Through strong planning, coordination, and project execution, the works were completed well ahead of schedule and delivered an excellent commercial outcome for our client.
